I am scoring around 68-70% across all sections for UWORLD and was wondering how this will translate onto the real thing.The AAMC offers two CARS Question Packs—called Volume 1 and Volume 2—and between the two of them you get a total of 43 passages. It's worth doing every single one of them. But there's a few other things you should know about them before you start. The first thing is that Volume 1 is actually harder than the real MCAT.Yo so does anyone else feel like the aamc section banks are as hell. IMO, these passages are particularly more challenging than ones found in AAMC FL 1 &2 ( only FLs ive taken thus far). But I also feel they are the most representative of the real MCAT compared to the Qpacks and Uworld. ( l want to hear y'all opinions) UWorld is, on average, slightly harder than AAMC. Relative difficulty imo would look like: CARS QP1 > UWorld, FL1 > average MCAT CARS section. I've been getting 70-80% on UWorld, which I think agrees with my FL1 CARS score of 127. Uworld takes way longer than AAMC, the AAMC explanations are worthless, so it’s more of a gauge about what you don’t know, so you can study it more. Uworld is essentially content review after every question, which is awesome, but takes forever to do.I.e one person could score WAY below average and study really hard and review all of the questions and get a 520 on FL1, or someone could get mid 60s and 70s and get a 510-515, it really depends on how you use the materials and learn from them.
